Event
Medal Madness in Deland, Florida, takes place on January 31, 2026, at Lake Beresford Park, 2100 Fatio Rd, Deland, FL 32720. The event includes the following distances:
- 5K
- 10K
- Half Marathon (13.1M)
All runners must register on RunSignup; there is no on-site registration. The race is organized by US Road Running.
Courses and logistics
The 5K and 10K use the same out-and-back segment. The out-and-back is 1.56 miles; the 5K completes that out-and-back two times and the 10K completes it four times. The Half Marathon uses a separate out-and-back segment of 2.18 miles, completed six times.
Parking at the start is limited. Overflow parking is available about 0.50 miles from the start; participants are advised to allow time to reach the start from overflow parking. The event has a course time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes.
