Event overview
The Medal Madness race takes place on January 31, 2026, in Deland, Florida (2100 Fatio Rd, 32720). The event offers three distance options: a 5K, 10K, and Half Marathon. All runners must register on RunSignup; there is no on-site registration. The race is organized by US Road Running and includes finisher medals, a shirt and gear shop, awards, a best costume category, and series points.
Course and logistics
The courses use repeated out-and-back loops. The 5K and 10K use a 1.56-mile out-and-back loop; the 5K completes that loop twice and the 10K completes it four times. The Half Marathon uses a 2.18-mile out-and-back loop and completes it six times. The event has a course time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes.
