Medal Madness 5K, 10K and Half Marathon, Gadsden AL
Medal Madness offers three race distances at James Martin Trail Park in Gadsden, Alabama. The event takes place on a pea gravel trail behind the Gadsden Mall and uses repeated out-and-back loops for each distance. GPS devices may point to a small building on Old S 4th Street; from there the parking lot to the south provides access to the trailhead.
All participants must register on RunSignup; there is no on-site registration. The event lists a course time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes. The event includes finisher medals and provides a shirt and gear shop, a best costume category, series points, and awards. Distances and course format:
- 5K : two repeats of the 1.56 mile out-and-back
- 10K : four repeats of the 1.56 mile out-and-back
- Half Marathon : six repeats of the 3.18 mile out-and-back
