Eagle 5K, 10K and Half Marathon, Gadsden, AL
This event takes place at James Martin Trail Park, 829 Old S 4th St, Gadsden, Alabama. The races are held on a pea gravel trail located behind the Gadsden Mall. Organizer directions note that GPS may direct to a small building on Old S 4th Street; in that case approach south on Old S 4th Street and turn right into the parking lot.
Courses are built from repeated out-and-back segments on the trail. For the 5K and 10K a short out-and-back segment of about 1.56 miles is used repeatedly; the 5K uses that segment two times and the 10K uses it four times. The half marathon uses a longer out-and-back segment of about 3.18 miles that is repeated for the event.
Registration is required online through RunSignup; there is no on-site registration. Entry fees listed by event are $30.00 for the 5K, $45.00 for the 10K, and $65.00 for the half marathon.
