Course and logistics
The course surface is a pea gravel trail. The 5K and 10K use a 1.56-mile out-and-back section: the 5K repeats that out-and-back twice and the 10K repeats it four times. The half marathon uses an out-and-back course that is repeated multiple times; the organizer provides course maps on MapMyRun. There is a course time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes. Packet pickup is available shortly before the race and ends shortly before the race start. The event notes that GPS devices may direct drivers to a small building on Old S. 4th Street; the race location is just behind the Gadsden Mall and participants are advised to use the parking lot entry described by the organizer.
