Medal Madness 5K, 10K, & 13.1M, Gadsden, AL (37)
The event takes place on September 12, 2026, at James Martin Trail Park in Gadsden, AL 35901. The course runs on a pea gravel trail behind the Gadsden Mall. A GPS may direct to a small building on Old S 4th Street; if so, go south on Old S 4th Street and turn right into the parking lot.
Course layouts are described as out-and-back segments. The 5K and 10K use a 0.78 mile segment that forms a 1.56 mile out-and-back; the 5K completes that out-and-back two times and the 10K completes it four times. The half marathon uses a 1.09 mile segment that forms a 3.18 mile out-and-back; the half marathon completes that out-and-back six times. The overall course time limit is 3 hours and 30 minutes.
Packet pickup opens 30 minutes before the race and closes 10 minutes before the start. All runners must register on RunSignup; there is no on-site registration. The event includes finisher medals, a shirt and gear shop, a best costume category, series points, and awards.
