Event Details

The US Road Running Medal Madness event takes place on Saturday, September 12, 2026, in Gadsden, Alabama. The races start at James Martin Trail Park, located at 829 Old S 4th Street. The event features three distances: a 5K, a 10K, and a Half Marathon.

Course Information

The course is run on a pea gravel trail. The 5K and 10K share a 0.78-mile out-and-back segment. The 5K is completed by running this segment two times, while the 10K requires four laps. The Half Marathon course uses a 1.09-mile out-and-back segment, which participants run six times to complete the distance. A course time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes is in effect.
