Event overview
Medal Madness 5K, 10K, & 13.1M takes place on January 24, 2026, at James Martin Trail Park in Gadsden, Alabama. The event includes three distance options and a course time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes. All runners must register on RunSignup; there is no on-site registration. Packet pickup opens 30 minutes before the race and closes 10 minutes before the race start.

Course and format
The races are held on a pea gravel trail at James Martin Trail Park. The 5K and 10K use a short segment listed as 0.78 miles. The out-and-back for that segment measures 1.56 miles; the 5K runs that out-and-back two times and the 10K runs it four times. The half marathon is based on a 1.09-mile segment; the out-and-back for that segment measures 3.18 miles and is repeated six times.
