Event overview
The Medal Madness race takes place on January 24, 2026 in Gadsden, Alabama at James Martin Trail Park (829 Old S 4th St, Gadsden, AL 35901). The event includes the following distances:

Course and logistics
The course runs on a pea gravel trail. The 5K and 10K use a course described as a 0.78-mile segment that forms a 1.56-mile out-and-back; the 5K repeats that out-and-back two times and the 10K repeats it four times. The half marathon is described using a 1.09-mile segment and an out-and-back of 3.18 miles; the half repeats that out-and-back six times. The event has a course time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes.
