Event Overview
The Shepherd's Cove Race to Remember is a fundraising event for Shepherd's Cove Hospice. It takes place at Old Mill Park in Boaz, Alabama. The event features two race distances: a certified 5K trail run and a 1 mile fun run. Registrations are non-refundable.
Event Details
The event includes a community concert, a luminarts fire show finale, and food vendors. The race t-shirt is only guaranteed for participants who register by April 3, 2026. Day-of-race shirts are available in limited quantities on a first-come, first-served basis. Participants are invited to wear glowing accessories. Awards are given for top finishers in both the 5K and the 1-mile fun run.

Schedule and Logistics
Packet pickup is offered on multiple days at Fleet Feet Huntsville, the Shepherd's Cove Hospice Community Room in Albertville, and Old Mill Park. On race day, gates open at 5:30 PM for registration and packet pickup. The 5K race starts at 7:00 PM, followed by the 1-mile fun run at 8:00 PM.
