Event Details
The Clinton 5K & 1 Mile Fun Run takes place on October 17, 2026, in Clinton, Tennessee. The event includes three registration options: a 5K Run, a 1 Mile Fun Run, and Sleeping but Supporting. The start and finish line for the races is near 19 Riverside Drive, close to Lakefront Park.
Course
The course follows Riverside Drive toward Riverbend Road. It is described as having flat terrain along the Clinch River.
Registration & Costs
Registration costs for adults (age 19 and above) are $30 plus a signup fee for both the 5K and the 1 Mile Fun Run. A youth rate (age 18 and below) is $15 plus a fee for these events. The Sleeping but Supporting option costs $25 plus a fee for all ages. Registration includes a chip-timed bib, an event T-shirt, and giveaways for those registered by October 1st.
Awards
An awards ceremony takes place after the races. For the 5K, awards are given to the top three overall male and female finishers, top masters, grand masters, veterans, and winners in 5-year adult age groups from 9 & under to 75+. For the 1 Mile Fun Run, awards are given to the top three overall male and female finishers, limited to participants 18 years and under.
Additional Information
Early packet pickup is available on specific dates and times the week before the event at Clinton Elementary School. Race day packet pickup begins at 7:30 AM at 19 Riverside Drive. For safety, roller blades, bicycles, and dogs are not allowed on the course, and headphones are discouraged. The event is a member race of the Run and See Tennessee Grand Prix.
