Event
The Viking race is scheduled for February 7, 2026, at Holston River Park in Knoxville, TN 37914. The event includes these distances:
- 5K
- 10K
- Half Marathon
All entrants must register on RunSignup; there is no on-site registration. The starting line is located near Shelter #1. Packet pickup opens shortly before the race and closes shortly before the race start.
Course and logistics
Course maps are provided for each distance. The 5K and 10K use the same out-and-back segment of 1.56 miles; the 5K repeats that out-and-back two times and the 10K repeats it four times. The Half Marathon uses an out-and-back segment of 2.18 miles repeated six times. The event has a course time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes.
