Barley's St. Patrick's Day 5K
The Barley's St. Patrick's Day 5K takes place in Knoxville, starting at Barley's Taproom on Jackson Avenue. The race finishes on the home plate of Covenant Health Park. The 2026 event marks its 13th anniversary.
The event offers two entry options. The basic Stadium Finish 5K includes a finisher's medal and a t-shirt. The VIP Barley's Experience 5K adds an all-you-can-eat pizza buffet and two adult beverages, with entry limited to 500 participants; participants must be 21 or older to consume alcohol.
Organized by the nonprofit Carrie On Events, all proceeds go to Emily's Power For A Cure, a foundation dedicated to neuroblastoma research. Strollers are permitted on the course. Headphones are discouraged because the course uses open streets, and dogs are not allowed on the course or in the stadium.
Packet pickup is at Barley's Taproom in the days leading up to the event. A pre-race party is held at the One Knox SC soccer home opener on the Saturday before the race, with an additional packet pickup location available. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
