Lucky Kidney Run, part of Knox Shamrock Fest

The Lucky Kidney Run takes place in Knoxville, Tennessee on March 14, 2026. The event is organized by the East Tennessee Kidney Foundation (ETKF) and is associated with the Knox Shamrock Fest at Worlds Fair Park. The race start and finish are located at the Regal Headquarters and include a segment that uses the Gay Street Pedestrian Bridge.

The 6K course follows South Knoxville streets and waterfront areas including Council Place, Sevier Avenue, Suttrey Landing Waterfront, Phillips Avenue, and Island Home Road, with an out-and-back on the Gay Street Bridge. The 6K course has less than 200 feet total elevation and a course cutoff of 1 hour 20 minutes. Awards for in-person 6K participants include top three male and female finishers, age group awards in ten year increments, top fundraising team, and largest team; awards will be presented from the main stage at the Knox Shamrock Fest.

Packet pickup is required prior to race day and is scheduled for March 12 and March 13 with locations and times to be announced. Parking is available in the Regal parking garage.
