Haunted 5K & Half Marathon at Hickory City Park
This event in Hickory, North Carolina, features two races: a 5K and a half marathon. The starting line and registration area are located north of the VFW, across the street from the corner of 16th Ave Pl NW and 12th St Dr NW, at 1581 12th St Dr NW, Hickory, NC 28601. Parking and restrooms are provided at the Trailhead.
Both courses use out-and-back sections. The 5K repeats an out-and-back section twice, and the half marathon repeats an out-and-back section six times. A course time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes applies.
All participants must register in advance on RunSignup; on-site registration is not available. All finishers receive a themed finisher medal. Costumes are encouraged; a group photo is taken at the start of each race and a best costume award is given at the beginning of each race.
The event earns points toward the US Road Running Race Series and follows the series' awards and information guidelines. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
