The Haunted 5K & Half Marathon takes place on October 3, 2026, at Hickory City Park in Hickory, NC (1581 12th St Dr NW, 28601). The event offers these distances:

All runners must register on RunSignup. There is no on-site registration. Packet pickup opens 30 minutes before the race and closes 10 minutes before the race starts.
Courses and logistics
The courses are described as repeated out-and-back loops. The 5K uses an out-and-back section of 1.56 miles that is run twice. The half marathon uses an out-and-back section of 2.18 miles that is run six times. A course time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes applies.
