Burke Day For Life 5K and Fun Run
The event is a community running day organized by the Pregnancy Care Center of Burke County at Burkemont Baptist Church in Morganton, North Carolina. It includes a 5K race, a one mile fun run, and a separate option to purchase the event T-shirt.

The 5K course runs through countryside along the base of Burkemont Mountain in the NC Foothills and passes through Double E Farms, a working farm with beef cattle, lambs, corn fields and a pumpkin patch. The fun run is a loop course that also starts and finishes at Burkemont Baptist Church. Briarpatch Mercantile at Double E Farms offers local breads, cheeses, deer corn, gifts and produce on site.
Awards are given for each age group for male and female finishers. Race registrations include a T-shirt; shirts are guaranteed through September 14, 2026, with additional shirts available on race day on a first come first serve basis and sizes not guaranteed. Packet pick up will be available prior to the event and on race day. After the runs there are food trucks, live music, carnival games, door prizes and a raffle.
