Bodie's Light 5k Fun Run/Walk
The Bodie's Light 5k Fun Run/Walk takes place on October 11, 2026 at Heritage Park at Capitol Lake in Olympia, Washington. The event is an untimed fun run/walk on a course that circles Capitol Lake twice and is stroller friendly.
Registration opens August 19, 2026 and closes October 10, 2026. Fees listed for in-person registration include $35 for adults, $10 for youth ages 10–17, and free registration for children 0–9; day-of registration is available for $40. Some registration options do not include a shirt; shirts may be purchased during registration if ordered by September 25, 2026.
The event benefits Bodie's Light, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded in honor of the organizer's child. The nonprofit provides boxes of items and resources to families who have experienced stillbirth and has donated boxes to three local hospitals. All registration fees and donations are used to support the organization's mission.
