US Road Running - Olympia
The Eagle 5K, 10K, and Half Marathon is a local racing event held at Heritage Park in Olympia, Washington. This event is part of the US Road Running Race Series and offers three distinct distances for participants to choose from:
- 5K (3.1 miles)
- 10K (6.2 miles)
- Half Marathon (13.1 miles)
The race utilizes out-and-back course layouts. The 5K and 10K participants run on a 1.56-mile segment, with 5K runners completing the out-and-back loop twice and 10K runners completing it four times. Half Marathon participants follow a separate 3.18-mile out-and-back course, which they must complete six times to reach the full distance.
A total course time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes is enforced for all distances. Registration is managed exclusively online, and no on-site registration is available. All participants who finish their respective races receive a finisher medal. The event also features a best costume competition, and runners can earn points toward the US Road Running series rankings.
