JBLM Down and Dirty Trail Run
The event is a trail run on Joint Base Lewis-McChord featuring an approximately 3 mile course with multiple obstacles that participants must navigate by going through, over, or under them. Waves of participants are released in groups of 25 every 5 minutes; organizers request that participants arrive at the start line about five minutes before their assigned wave. Late arrivals will be asked to join the next wave.
Registration is separated by military affiliation and age:
- Military affiliated: $40 (18 and older), $20 (17 and under)
- Non military affiliated: $50 (18 and older), $25 (17 and under)
Online registration closes July 15, 2026. Entry is limited to the first 1,500 registrants. Participants who register by July 5, 2026 are guaranteed an event T-shirt at packet pick up.
Packet pick up occurs in the parking lot of Soldiers Field House (3236 2nd Division Drive) on July 17 and on the day of the event. Race packets include an event T-shirt, a custom medal, a race bib, and a ticket for a post-race beverage. A post-race area will offer music and a free beverage for participants holding the ticket included in their packet. Refunds are not available.
