Race Overview
The US Road Running event at Heritage Park in Olympia, Washington, features multiple distance options for participants, including a 5K, 10K, and a Half Marathon. This event is part of the US Road Running Race Series and is open to all runners. All participants must complete their registration online through RunSignup, as there is no registration available on the day of the race at the event site.
Course Information
The event utilizes out-and-back routes designed for multiple laps depending on the chosen distance:
- 5K: This distance follows a 1.56-mile out-and-back course two times.
- 10K: This distance follows a 1.56-mile out-and-back course four times.
- Half Marathon: This distance follows a 3.18-mile out-and-back course six times.
There is a course time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes for all distances. Participants can pick up their race packets beginning 30 minutes before the start, with pickup closing 10 minutes prior to departure.
Event Features
All finishers receive a themed medal for completing their race. The event also includes a costume component where participants can compete for the Best Costume award.
