US Road Running - Olympia
The Luau 5K, 10K, and Half Marathon is organized by US Road Running and takes place at Heritage Park in Olympia, Washington. This event is part of a larger race series where participants can earn series points. Registration must be completed online prior to the event, as there is no option for on-site registration.
Participants have the choice of three distinct distances:
- 5K
- 10K
- Half Marathon (13.1 Miles)
The 5K and 10K events utilize an out-and-back course that is 1.56 miles long per lap. Runners participating in the 5K complete this out-and-back loop twice, while runners in the 10K complete it four times. The Half Marathon follows a separate out-and-back course totaling 3.18 miles per lap, which is completed six times by participants.
All participants who complete their respective distances receive a finisher medal. A three-hour and 30-minute time limit is enforced for all courses. While not required, runners are encouraged to wear costumes, and a group photo is taken at the start.
