Course format and structure: the 5K and 10K use a short out-and-back segment listed as 0.78 miles one way, which makes a 1.56 mile out-and-back. The half marathon uses a different out-and-back segment listed as 1.09 miles one way, which makes a 2.18 mile out-and-back; the half marathon repeats that out-and-back six times.
