About the race
US Road Running Squirrel races take place on 19 June 2027 at Gemini Springs Park in DeBary, Florida. The event offers multiple road race distances on a concrete course.
The distances offered are:
- 5K
- 10K
- 13.1 Miles
All participants must register on RunSignup; there is no on-site registration. Registration closes on 19 June 2027. Entry fees listed by event are $30 for the 5K, $45 for the 10K, and $65 for the 13.1 Mile race. Packet pickup is handled near the start area at the O.K. Corral shelter and is available shortly before the race.
Course layout and limits are specified by distance. The 5K and 10K use an out-and-back route described as 3.11 miles for one out-and-back loop; the 5K completes that loop once and the 10K completes it twice. The 13.1 Mile course is an out-and-back described as 3.28 miles per loop, completed four times for the half marathon distance. A course time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes applies.
Event access and facilities: enter Gemini Springs Park from Dirksen Drive, turn right at the first stop sign and use the West Parking loop. Check-in and start/finish are at the O.K. Corral shelter. Follow park signage to East Parking if West Parking is full. Restrooms are located beyond the playground on the side of West Parking opposite the shelter.
