About the race
New Year running events take place at Gemini Springs Park in DeBary, Florida, at 37 Dirksen Drive, 32713. The event offers multiple race distances and uses concrete surfaces throughout the course.
Distances:
- 5K (registration fee $30)
- 10K (registration fee $45)
- Half Marathon 13.1 miles (registration fee $65)
The 5K and 10K use an out and back loop of about 3.11 miles; the 5K completes the loop once and the 10K completes it twice. The Half Marathon follows an out and back loop of about 3.28 miles, completed four times. There is a course time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes.
Event operations are centered at the O.K. Corral shelter, where check-in and bib pick-up take place. Entrances and parking: enter Gemini Springs Park from Dirksen Drive, turn right at the first stop sign and use the West Parking loop; follow park signs to East Parking if West Parking is full. Restrooms are located beyond the playground on the side of West Parking opposite the O.K. Corral. All runners must register on RunSignup; there is no on-site registration.
