Battle of the Bands 5K: Track Shack
The Battle of the Bands 5K takes place on September 26, 2026 at Lake Concord Park, 95 Triplet Lake Dr., Casselberry, FL 32707. The event includes an in person race and a virtual option, with processing fees applied to registrations.

Three live bands perform along the course, with music at roughly every mile and a post race opportunity to vote for a favorite band. Prize amounts are listed for first, second and third place bands. A post race party includes beer for guests age 21 and over.
The course is USATF certified and measures 3.1 mile, starting and finishing at Lake Concord Park beneath large, shaded oak trees. Chip timing is used with a B Tag attached to the race bib. Course time limits require participants to maintain a 15 minute per mile pace.
Event swag includes a T Shirt and a finisher medal. The free kids run features distances from about 100 yards up to 1 mile; shirts for kids are first come first serve and all registered kids receive a finisher medal courtesy of Florida Dairy Farmers.
Proceeds benefit cultural arts organizations in Casselberry and the Track Shack Youth Foundation. Wheelchair athletes may compete using push rim or handcycle equipment; push rim athletes are eligible for awards while handcycle entries compete in an exhibition category.
