Event overview
The Sazón & Sneakers 5K takes place on October 3, 2026, in Lake Mary, Florida. It is the second annual race hosted by Spanish Girls Run, a nonprofit organization. The race is chip timed using a disposable chip attached to the back of the bib. The course is USATF certified and described as fast and flat. Finishers receive medals and shirts; shirt sizes are guaranteed for early registrants. Awards are given to the top three overall male and female finishers and to top three male and female age-group finishers across listed age brackets.
The field is capped at 500 participants. Packet pickup will take place at Front Running Sports, located at 1061 S. Sun Dr, Lake Mary, FL 32746. Parking is available around the shopping plaza. The event includes community vendors and sponsor activations and will proceed in rain or shine, with possible delay or postponement for lightning.
