Event overview
The Medal Madness event is scheduled for June 20, 2026, at Freedom Park in Williamsburg, VA 23188. The event includes three distances:
- 5K
- 10K
- Half Marathon
All runners must register online through RunSignup; there is no on-site registration. The organizer is US Road Running. Packet pickup is available before the race. The start location for the event has changed, and participants are instructed to park at Lois Hornsby Middle School.
Course and logistics
The 5K and 10K use an out-and-back course described as 3.11 miles; the 5K completes the out-and-back once and the 10K twice. The half marathon uses an out-and-back course described as 3.28 miles and completes that out-and-back four times. The event has a course time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes. Finisher medals are provided. A shirt and gear shop, a best costume recognition, series points, and awards are noted as part of the event offerings.
