Kingswood KLAM 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run
Kingswood Recreation Association presents the tenth annual event on June 6, 2026, at 100 Red Maple Place, Williamsburg, VA 23185. The event comprises multiple race options and proceeds benefit Kingswood Pool and Recreation Association. Participants may spend the day at Kingswood Pool after the races.

- 5K race walk
- 1 mile fun run for kids
Registration opens March 19, 2026 and closes May 27, 2026. Entry fees listed by the organizer are $30.00 for the 5K run/walk and for the 5K race walk, and $15.00 for the 1 mile fun run. T-shirts and exact sizes are guaranteed only for entrants who register by May 27, 2026; after that date shirts are available first come, first served while supplies last.
Awards are scheduled for 9:45 am with more than 90 awards. Awards are given to the top three overall men and women, to the top three in five-year age groups from 14 and under through 70 and over, and to the top three men and women in the walk division.
The 5K course begins and finishes at the pool driveway near the clubhouse and follows neighborhood roads including Spring Road, West Kingswood Drive, Regency Court, Oak Road, Perry, Holly Road, Kingswood Drive, Dover Road, and Oxford Road for a measured distance of 3.105 miles. The 1 mile fun run follows a portion of the 5K course using the pool sidewalk and Kingswood Drive loop with a brief out-and-back to return to the same finish line.
