Event Overview
The US Road Running Williamsburg event features several race distances held at Lois Hornsby Middle School. Participants can choose from three main running categories:
- 5K
- 10K
- Half Marathon (13.1 Miles)
Course Details
The races follow an out-and-back format on specific routes starting from the middle school bus loop. The 5K participants complete a single 3.11-mile out-and-back loop. The 10K course requires runners to complete the same out-and-back loop two times. For those participating in the Half Marathon, the course is a 3.28-mile out-and-back loop that must be completed four times.
Logistics
Participants must register in advance through RunSignup as there is no registration available on the day of the event. Packet pickup is conducted on-site shortly before the start. Parking is located at the Lois Hornsby Middle School parking lot, and attendees use the sidewalk to reach the starting area at the bus loop.
All finishers receive a medal for completing their respective courses. The event has a total course time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes for all distances.
