Taskinas Creek Half Marathon
The Taskinas Creek Half Marathon is scheduled for June 7, 2026 at York River State Park in Williamsburg, Virginia (9801 York River Park Rd). The event is presented in a no frills Hike a Half format intended to be inclusive; participants may run or hike and choose their own level of competition.
Organizers will publish official results including overall and age group standings. Participants may pick up a finisher medal if they choose. A special PR coaster is awarded to runners who beat their previous time on the same half marathon course. Free parking, aid stations, and course markings are provided.
The course is mostly trail surface. More than half of the route follows single track mountain bike trail, with about one mile of pavement and the remainder on dirt fire road. Elevation is around 600 feet with rolling terrain and scenic views. The final two miles include a notably steep and difficult section. Aid stations are placed at approximately miles 3.1, 6.5, and 10.5 and will offer fueling foods, water, and electrolytes.
Field size is limited to 250 registrants and there is a nominal five hour time limit with some flexibility. T shirts are not included in registration and must be added at checkout; the T shirt ordering deadline is May 17. Packet pick up is available race day only.
