Jamestown Triathlon
The event takes place on June 7, 2026 at 2205 Jamestown Road, near the original Jamestown Settlement and minutes from historic Williamsburg, Virginia. The program includes Olympic and sprint triathlons, aquabike races, and relay options for teams of two or three members. The Sprint and Olympic races serve as the USA Triathlon Virginia State Championships and offer qualification spots for the Toyota Age Group National Championships; state championship qualification is awarded to the top 35 percent or the top five finishers in an age group, whichever is greater. High school athletes who finish a State High School Championship may qualify for sprint nationals if they meet the listed age requirement. Some state championships held after June 1, 2025 qualify for both the 2025 and 2026 Toyota Age Group Nationals.
The swim is staged at Jamestown beach, where wildlife such as osprey and dolphins may be observed. The bike courses are described as flat and run alongside the Cap-Cap bike trail along Route 5. The run course passes through historic farmland and forest, using a mix of bike paths and jogging trails.
