Kayak rentals are available on site.
Bike courses are mostly flat and fast, staying within James City County with dedicated bike lanes on Centerville Road and out and back sections on local roads. The run courses are flat and follow paved and packed gravel trails, with aid stations roughly every mile offering ice water and Gatorade.
The race is sanctioned by USA Triathlon and includes standard race categories such as Age Group, Aquabike, Military, Clydesdale, Athena, Masters, and Relay teams. Packet pickup is held at the event site the day before and on race morning, and pre race briefings are provided. Registrations are non refundable; race deferrals and race insurance options are available. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
