Event Overview
The Medal Madness running event takes place on March 7, 2026, in Williamsburg, Virginia. The event is based at Lois Hornsby Middle School.
Distances
Participants can choose from three distances:
- 5K
- 10K
- Half Marathon (13.1 miles)
Course Details
The 5K and 10K use an out-and-back segment of 3.11 miles. The 5K completes this segment one time, and the 10K completes it two times. The Half Marathon uses a separate out-and-back segment of 3.28 miles, which is completed four times.
Event Information
All participants must register online via RunSignup. There is no on-site registration. Packet pickup begins 30 minutes before the race and ends 10 minutes before the race starts. Parking is located at the Lois Hornsby Middle School lot; participants walk to the bus loop for the start.
Time Limit
The course has a time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes for all distances.
