US Road Running - Pirate 5K, 10K, & 13.1M
The US Road Running - Laguna Beach event takes place in Panama City Beach, Florida, at Frank Brown Park. This themed event features multiple race distances held on out and back courses. All participants must register online as there is no option for on-site registration. Packet pickup is conducted at the event site shortly before the official start.
The event offers three distinct distance options:
- 5K
- 10K
- Half Marathon (13.1 miles)
The 5K and 10K courses follow a 0.78-mile out and back path, totaling 1.56 miles per lap. Runners completing the 5K distance must run the course twice, while the 10K participants complete four laps. The half marathon uses a separate 1.09-mile out and back route, totaling 2.18 miles per lap. Runners in the half marathon must complete the course six times.
There is a strict time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes for all participants. Every finisher receives a themed medal. Although not required, participants have the opportunity to participate in a costume competition.
