Event Overview
The US Road Running event in Largo, Florida, is a competitive running event hosted at Eagle Lake Park. Part of the US Road Running Race Series, the event provides participants with the opportunity to earn series points across three different distances. The event is open to the public; however, all participants must complete their registration online through RunSignup, as there is no registration available at the venue on the day of the race.
Distance Options
Participants can choose from three distinct distances:
- 5K
- 10K
- Half Marathon
The 5K and 10K routes utilize a 1.56-mile out and back course. Participants in the 5K distance complete the course once, while those in the 10K complete it twice. The Half Marathon follows a 1.64-mile out and back course, which must be completed four times.
Race Logistics
The event is subject to a course time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes for all distances. Packet pickup is conducted on-site, beginning 30 minutes before the start and concluding 10 minutes prior to the race. At the finish line, all participants receive a themed finisher medal. While not mandatory, the organizer encourages participants to compete in costume.
