Event Information
The PB&J Run is a 10th annual event held at Albert Whitted Park in downtown St. Petersburg. Participants can choose between 5K and 10K running distances. Both courses are USATF-certified and chip-timed, winding through the downtown area with waterfront views. Runners pass landmarks including the Dalí Museum, the St. Pete Pier, and the Vinoy Hotel.
Registration Benefits
Registration includes a performance t-shirt, a commemorative race bib, and a signature hinged finisher medal. There is an option to upgrade the t-shirt to a tank top or long sleeve shirt. A post-race "JAMboree" features unlimited peanut butter and jelly sandwiches at the finish line. A separate 15K Challenge also exists, offering a challenge gift to those participants.
Purpose
The event is a fundraiser. One hundred percent of the proceeds go to the Pinellas County non-profit Directions for Living, which provides services for people who are homeless, individuals experiencing mental illness, and families facing food insecurity.
