Pirate 5K, 10K, & 13.1M at Temple, TX (15)
This event is scheduled for Saturday, April 11, 2026. It will be held at James Wilson Park, located at 1909 Curtis B Elliot Dr in Temple, Texas. The starting point is next to the Wilson Park Recreation Center.
Participants can choose from three race distances:
- 5K
- 10K
- Half Marathon
All courses follow an out-and-back design. The 5K and 10K share a 3.11-mile loop, with the 5K completing it once and the 10K completing it twice. The Half Marathon uses a separate 3.28-mile out-and-back loop, which participants run four times.
There is a 3 hours and 30 minutes time limit for the course. Packet pickup begins 30 minutes before the race and ends 10 minutes before it starts. All participants must register online; on-site registration is not available. The event includes elements such as finisher medals, an awards structure, and a best costume contest.
