Pirate 5K, 10K, & 13.1 at Temple, TX (14)
The event on April 4, 2026, is a multi-distance road race held at Wilson Park, next to the Wilson Park Recreation Center in Temple, Texas. Distances offered are listed below and each distance uses measured out-and-back laps on mapped courses. Packet pickup opens 30 minutes before the race and closes 10 minutes before the race starts. All entrants must register on RunSignup; there is no on-site registration. The overall course time limit is 3 hours and 30 minutes.

Course details provided by the organizer indicate specific lap lengths and lap counts. The 5K and 10K use a 1.56 mile lap configured as an out-and-back that totals 3.11 miles; the 5K completes that out-and-back once and the 10K completes it twice. The half marathon uses a 1.64 mile lap configured as an out-and-back of 3.28 miles and repeats that out-and-back four times. The organizer lists finisher medals, a shirt and gear shop, a best costume recognition, series points, and awards as part of the event program.
