Event Information
The Pirate 5K, 10K, and Half Marathon running event takes place on Saturday, April 4, 2026. The start location is next to the Wilson Park Recreation Center at Jams Wilson Park in Temple, Texas.

All three race distances share a similar out-and-back course structure, run multiple times. The 5K and 10K course is a 1.56-mile out-and-back segment. Runners complete this segment once for the 5K and twice for the 10K. The Half Marathon course uses a 1.64-mile out-and-back segment, which runners complete four times to reach the full half marathon distance.
Packet pickup for participants begins 30 minutes before the race and concludes 10 minutes before the start. All participants must register online; no on-site registration is available.
