Event Overview
The US Road Running event at the Crossroads Recreational Complex in Temple, Texas, features three distinct distance options on a paved out-and-back course. The race is open to all runners who complete their registration online, as there is no registration available at the venue on the day of the event.
Course Information
The event utilizes two primary course loops for the different distances. Both courses are paved and follow an out-and-back format.
- 5K: Participants complete the 3.11-mile out-and-back course once.
- 10K: Participants complete the 3.11-mile out-and-back course twice.
- Half Marathon: Participants complete a 3.28-mile out-and-back course four times.
A course time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes is in effect for all participants.
Logistics
Packet pickup is conducted on-site, beginning 30 minutes before the start and concluding 10 minutes before the race begins. Participants can find parking in the lot by the Crossroads Tennis Courts off Prairie View Road. Restroom facilities are located behind the tennis courts. All participants who finish their respective distance will receive a finisher medal. The event also includes a costume contest for interested participants.
