Roses for Hoses 5K Run/Walk
The Roses for Hoses 5K Run/Walk takes place in Morgan's Point Resort, Texas. This chip-timed event is a part of the Cen-Tex Race Series and is presented by the Morgan’s Point Resort Ladies Auxiliary. The event supports the local Fire Department and various community outreach projects.
Participants can register for the following distance:
- 5 km (Run or Walk)
Registered participants receive a swag bag and a rose for their participation. Event t-shirts are provided to those who register by March 11, 2026, while later registrants have access to limited quantities and sizes. The event also features a costume contest with awards for the top four costumed participants and a bib raffle for all entries.
The course is subject to roadblocks starting shortly before the race commencement to ensure the safety of all runners and walkers. These remains in place until all participants have returned to the finish. Awards are presented to the top overall male and female finishers, as well as the top three finishers in several age categories spanning from 11 and under to 70 and older.
Organizers hold the event rain or shine. In the case of severe weather, race officials may delay, shorten, or cancel the race to ensure participant safety. Early packet pick-up is available during the week leading up to the race at the Garrett & Mic Hill Event Center. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
