Event

The Roses for Hoses 5K Run/Walk takes place on Saturday, April 11, 2026, in Morgan's Point Resort, TX (postal code 76513). The event is part of the Cen-Tex Race Series and is presented by the Morgan’s Point Resort Ladies Auxiliary. Proceeds support the local fire department and community outreach projects.

Race details

5K

The event is chip-timed. Race shirts are guaranteed for registrations made by mid-March; limited quantities are available after that. A bib raffle will be held for entrants; winners must be present. Each registered runner or walker will receive a rose. Costume contest awards will be given to the top four costumed participants.

Awards are given to the top overall male and female finishers and to the top three male and female finishers in each age group, with no duplicate awards. Age groups include 11 & under, 12-15, 16-19, then 20-24 through 70+ in five-year bands.

Early packet pick-up is offered at Garrett & Mic Hill Event Center, 60 Morgan's Point Blvd., on dates in the days before the race. Race day registration and packet pick-up occur at the race site and use personal devices; payment is by credit card only. A downloadable course map is provided as a PDF.
