About the Event
The Roses for Hoses 5K Run/Walk is a community event presented by the Morgan’s Point Resort Ladies Auxiliary. The proceeds support the local fire department and community outreach projects. It is part of the Cen-Tex Race Series.
Registered participants receive a swag bag and a rose. A race t-shirt is included for those who register by March 11, 2026, though availability is very limited after that date. The event features a chip-timed 5K distance.
Registration and Awards
There are two registration options: a standard 5K and a discounted youth option for participants aged 17 and under. The standard registration fee is $35 until March 17, 2026, and increases to $40 after that. A bib raffle is held for all entries; participants must be present to win.
Awards are given to the top overall male and female finishers, as well as the top three male and female finishers in each age group. Age groups range from 11 & under to 70+. A separate costume contest awards the top four costumed participants.
