Viking 5K, 10K, Half Marathon, and Marathon - Temple, TX
The event takes place on February 21, 2026 at Crossroads Recreational Complex in Temple, Texas. It offers several road race distances and is part of the US Road Running Race Series.

Courses and format are on paved roads and use out-and-back layouts. The 5K runs the basic course one time and the 10K runs it twice. The Half Marathon repeats its out-and-back loop four times and the Marathon repeats it eight times. A six hour course time limit applies.
Logistics note that packet pickup opens 30 minutes before the race and closes 10 minutes before the race start. All runners must register on RunSignup; there is no on-site registration. Restrooms are located behind the tennis court. Parking is available in the lot by the Crossroads Tennis Courts off Prairie View Road.
All finishers receive a themed medal. Wearing a costume is encouraged but not required; a group photo is taken at the beginning of each race and a best costume is awarded at that time. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
