Event overview
The Viking 5K, 10K, 13.1 & 26.2 takes place on February 7, 2026 at James Wilson Park in Temple, TX (2205 Curtis B Elliot Dr, Temple, TX 76501). The event is organized by US Road Running. All participants must register on RunSignup; there is no on-site registration. Packet pickup opens 30 minutes before the race and closes 10 minutes before the race. The start area is next to the Wilson Park Recreation Center. A course time limit of 6 hours applies.

The 5K and 10K use an out-and-back course of 3.11 miles. The 5K completes that out-and-back once; the 10K completes it twice. The Half Marathon and Marathon use an out-and-back course of 3.28 miles. The Half Marathon completes that out-and-back four times; the Marathon completes it eight times.
