Event overview
The New Year 5K, 10K, & 13.1M takes place on January 10, 2026, at James Wilson Park in Temple, Texas (2205 Curtis B Elliot Dr, Temple, TX 76501). Entry is handled through RunSignup; there is no on-site registration. Entry fees listed are $30 for the 5K, $45 for the 10K, and $65 for the Half Marathon.

Course and race information
The 5K and 10K use an out-and-back course of 3.11 miles; the 5K completes the out-and-back once and the 10K completes it twice. The Half Marathon uses an out-and-back course of 3.28 miles repeated four times. A course time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes is in place. Packet pickup is available before the race. Finisher medals, event shirts and gear, awards, and a Best Costume recognition are noted as part of the event offerings.
