Event Overview
The Haunted 5K, 10K, and Half Marathon is a chip-timed running event held in Royal Palm Beach, Florida. The race is part of the US Road Running series and is open to the public. Participation requires pre-registration through the designated online platform, as there is no registration available on the day of the event. Packet pickup is conducted shortly before the start of the activities.
Course Information
The races utilize an out-and-back format on specific designated routes. Participants in all distances will navigate the course multiple times depending on their chosen event. The following distances are available:
- 5K: A single out-and-back loop totaling 3.11 miles.
- 10K: Two laps of the out-and-back course.
- Half Marathon: Four laps of an out-and-back course totaling 13.1 miles.
Event Regulations
There is a strictly enforced course time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes for all participants. Runners have the option to participate in a best costume contest held at the start of the race. All finishers receive a commemorative medal upon completing their respective distance. The event also contributes points toward the larger US Road Running series standings.
