12th Annual Heroes For Education 5K
The 12th Annual Heroes For Education 5K is a fundraising event for public education in Palm Beach County held on October 4, 2026 at John Prince Park in Lake Worth, Florida. The event is presented by the Education Foundation of Palm Beach County with support from UnitedHealthcare and Optum. Registration opens May 8, 2026. This year’s field is capped at 2,000 participants and ticket pricing increases after September 7.

Event services include AccuChip timing for the 5K, guaranteed finisher medals and high performance race t shirts for 5K and kids events, age group and team awards, and Heroes Awards whose prize money is distributed to winning public schools for educational supplies.
