US Road Running Event in Charlotte
The US Road Running event in Charlotte provides several distance options for participants. The race takes place at the Mallard Creek Playground, which is located across from Mallard Creek Elementary School. All participants receive a finisher medal after completing their selected distance. The event features a broad time limit of three hours and thirty minutes for all courses.
Registration is required in advance through RunSignup, as there is no on-site registration available on the day of the event. Packet pickup is scheduled to begin 30 minutes before the race start and concludes 10 minutes prior to the commencement of the run.
The following distances are available:
- 5K: A 3.11-mile out-and-back course completed one time.
- 10K: The 3.11-mile out-and-back course completed twice.
- Half Marathon: A 3.275-mile out-and-back course completed four times.
The courses for all distances include a hill located at the start and finish lines. In addition to the running competition, participants have the option to compete for a best costume award.
