US Road Running - Colonial Heights

Haunted 5K, 10K, 13.1M & 26.2M
The Haunted 5K, 10K, Half Marathon, and Marathon are road running events held in Colonial Heights, Virginia. Part of the US Road Running series, these races take place at the Appomattox River Greenway Roslyn Landing Access. Registration is required in advance via RunSignup, as there is no on-site registration.
The event features four different race distances:
- 5K: A single lap of an out-and-back course.
- 10K: Two laps of the out-and-back course.
- Half Marathon: Four laps of a 13.1-mile out-and-back course.
- Marathon: Eight laps of a 26.2-mile out-and-back course.
Participants have a course time limit of six hours to complete their respective distances. Packet pickup is available at the race location beginning 30 minutes before the event starts. Parking is available at the Appomattox River Greenway Roslyn Landing, though the organizer indicates that space is limited.
All finishers receive a medal upon completing their race. The event also includes an opportunity for participants to wear costumes, with a best costume recognition included in the program.
