Collegiate-Inspired Running Event
The Run League University College Classic is a themed athletic event held in Colonial Heights, Virginia. This collegiate-inspired race encourages participants to display school pride by wearing gear from their alma mater, current school, or favorite college team. The event emphasizes community and consistency while celebrating the joy of crossing the finish line.
Participants can choose from several event formats:
- 5K running race
- 10K running race
- Virtual 5K option
- Virtual 10K option
The in-person courses are open to both runners and walkers of various experience levels. All finishers receive a custom Run League University College Classic medal. For those opting for the virtual format, the race can be completed at any location during the week of the event. Virtual results are submitted via an honor system, and participants receive the same medal and shirt as in-person runners.
Registrations submitted by September 26, 2026, include an official race shirt. A portion of each registration fee is donated to the University Preparatory College Fund.
