Hacienda Hills Trail Run (Spring)
Troy's California Trail Runs stages the Hacienda Hills Trail Run on Saturday, April 24, 2027 at Almaden Quicksilver County Park, Hacienda Entrance (21785 Almaden Rd, San Jose, CA 95120). The event offers multiple trail distances with varied elevation profiles and on-course support.
Distances offered:
- Kids Run
- 1 Mile
- 5K: 751 ft ascent
- 10K: 1,545 ft ascent
- 9 Mile: 2,450 ft ascent
- Half Marathon: 3,100 ft ascent, 4 hour time limit
- 30K: 4,606 ft ascent, 6 hour time limit
- Trail Marathon: 6,466 ft ascent, 9 hour time limit
- 50K: 7,129 ft ascent, 9 hour time limit
Courses are primarily on dirt fire roads with some moderately technical single-track sections. Routes are marked with signs, colored ribbons, and gypsum or white chalk; single-track sections are marked at their beginnings and ends. Some short trail sections may not have ribbons and participants are expected to follow posted markings.
Aid and facilities: toilets are available at the Hacienda start/finish and at Mockingbird and Woods aid stations. The Hacienda start/finish also functions as a full aid station for distances of 9 miles and longer. Drop bag service is available at the Hacienda start/finish; drop bags are collected at registration and are not available at Mockingbird or Woods.
Parking is free in the unpaved dirt lot at the Hacienda entrance near the La Foret restaurant. Registration fees vary by distance and are non-refundable, with credit transfer options before race day. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
