The Calero Trail Run (Winter) is a trail running event held at Calero County Park in San Jose, California. The event offers several race distances and a separate kids run.

Course and Terrain
The course features single-track trails, hills, and dirt paths through Calero County Park and adjacent areas like Rancho Cañada del Oro. The terrain includes oak trees and panoramic vistas. Specific ascent details are provided for some distances: the 5K has 252 feet of ascent, the 10K has 1,187 feet, the 15K has 1,751 feet, and the Half Marathon has 2,477 feet.
For the longer distances (Half Marathon and up), there are specific course cutoff times at various mile markers, with a final 9-hour cutoff for the 50K. Aid stations with water are located along the courses. The event uses a color-coded ribbon system for course markings, with different colors for various distances and sections.
Logistics
Parking is free at the Calero Park lot on McKean Road, and carpooling is encouraged. Toilets are available at the start/finish area and at the Rancho Canada del Oro Aid Station. Support crews can access the Rancho Cañada del Oro Aid Station to follow their runners. For the 50K distance, drop bags can be left at the start/finish and at the Rancho Cañada del Oro Aid Station.
