H9 Dragon

H9 Dragon is a club trail event scheduled for August 22, 2026 at Vogel State Park, Blairsville, GA. The event is organized by H9 Events and includes the following race distances:

• 50 Miler
• Marathon

Participation requires membership in the H9 trail club. Membership and event registration are handled as separate steps to allow club management of results and multiple events. Registration closes on August 4, 2026 at 11:59 PM ET.

The event is run by a non-profit trail club that follows Forest Service rules for use of the Duncan Ridge area. Entry fees are intended to cover the cost of award medals, a t-shirt, site rental, and food. Organizers note a fee increase to cover costs; labor and certain equipment use are donated to the event. Finisher medals are fabricated locally, made of stainless steel and laser cut, and are reflected in the event costs.

The H9 Dragon name replaces the traditional H9 event title. The course follows the Duncan Ridge route used by the club. Organizers have indicated the possibility of additional club events in the future. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
