Guzi's Hunt for the Cure Run/Walk is a fundraising event for Huntington's Disease. The sixth annual event takes place on Sunday, May 17, 2026, at Lake Vista Park in Oak Creek, Wisconsin.
The Cause
The event raises funds for the Huntington's Disease Society of America (HDSA) – Wisconsin Chapter and the Guzi's Hunt For The Cure Foundation, Inc. In its first five years, the event raised over $380,000. The 2026 fundraising goal is $75,000. The foundation provides financial grants to couples impacted by Huntington's Disease for fertility assistance, specifically pre-implantation genetic testing with IVF.
Event Details
The event offers four participation options:
- Adult Untimed Run or Walk
- Timed 5K
- Child 5K Untimed (for participants aged 18 and under)
- Remote 5K
