GRRC Freezeroo Series

Event Overview
The GRRC Freezeroo Series is a winter race series held from mid-December to late February in the Rochester, New York area. Participants can register for the entire series or for individual races. Discounted registration fees are available for Greater Rochester Track Club (GRRC) members.
Race Distances and Locations
The series consists of six individual races at various parks and lodges around the Rochester area:
- Don Curran Memorial 5K at North Star Christian Academy
- New Year's Resolution Run 7.5 miles at Mendon Ponds Park
- Pineway Ponds Park 5 mile at Pineway Ponds Park
- Hearnish 5 mile at Victor Municipal Park
- Valentines Run "In Memory of Tom Brannon" 8 Miles at Braddock Bay Park
- White House Challenge 4.4M at Webster Park
Registration and Fees
- Series Registration: $70 for GRRC members; $90 for non-members.
- Advance Single-Race Registration: $20 for GRRC members; $25 for non-members.
- Day-of-Race Single-Race Registration: $30 for GRRC members; $35 for non-members.
Race Details
Series participants receive a bib and gift at the first race and use the same bib for the entire series. Individual race participants pick up a bib before each race. To qualify for series prizes, participants must run at least four of the six races, with their best four results determining their standings. All races are held on roads open to traffic.
