The course is a singletrack trail loop at Haw River State Park. The event's refund and transfer rules are stated: no refunds are issued within 30 days of the event; requests made earlier than 30 days may be eligible for a 50% refund of the entry fee (processing fees excluded). Entries cannot be deferred to another event or year. Entries may be transferred to another individual for a $5 transfer fee; T-shirt size changes are not permitted. In the event of a cancellation for reasons beyond the race director’s control, refunds will not be issued and race packets will be made available at a location to be determined.
